This unit produces square waves in DC (direct current) mode. This unit then switches polarity every second which makes this unit act like it is using AC (alternating current). This action releases negative and positive ions and pushes these ions through the tissue. The cells easily absorb both OH- (hydroxal) and H+ (protons) which research has shown opens the blood vessels, driving increased oxygen into the blood and increasing the manufacture of ATP in the cells.
