Abrasion resistant irradiated cross-linked polyethylene jacket is designed for use in engine compartments. More heat resistant, tougher and more fluid resistant than general purpose PVC insulated wire. Temperature rated at 257ºF (125ºC) vs. 215ºF (105ºC) for general purpose wire. That's a 20% gain. Available in 50' rolls of 14GA or 25' rolls of 10GA wire.
