Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Buckeye Burl Cabronita NOS Telecaster

This guitar is a Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt creation, which means that it was hand-crafted by a single luthier. Dale Wilson made this guitar, and he did an incredible job. The top is made from buckeye burl, a strangely beautiful wood with a lot of interesting markings. The body is a semi-hollow cut of ash. It provides a woody, crisp sound, but it also makes for a light guitar - right around 6.5 lbs. The neck is made from a gorgeous cut of flame maple. It sports a comfortable C profile, a gloss finish and a 9.5" fingerboard radius. Electronically, this guitar sports a single TV Jones Classic Plus pickup. It's like a vintage Filter'Tron, but with a little more output and more growl. Vintage-style tuners, a bone nut and abalone fretboard inlays top everything off. Overall, the vibe is souped up and stripped down - there's nothing that'll get in your way on this one, but everything that is there is perfectly crafted and dialed in.
