Vanessa gives a brief insight of her childhood. She was physically, sexually, and emotionally battered. She also had emotional issues as she struggled raising her daughter while being a single parent. Shortly after, Vanessa found out she wasn't the only child, so she made it her mission to search for her brothers and sisters. Vanessa has a genuine nature. Her heart is full of love and kindness which brings her family back together due to the abandonment and drug addiction.
