SmartMarker - Whiteboarding beyond the surface The Equil Smartmarker is a portable note capturing system that lets users write, diagram, or draw on any type of whiteboarding surface and automatically saves and syncs notes and drawings to an Android, iOS, Mac OS or Windows device. Equil Smartmarker works with Equil’s free app, Equil Note to stream content and integrates with cloud services such as Dropbox, Evernote, and iCloud. It is a connected device that makes any whiteboard surface smart by capturing everything you write so you can save, edit, stream and organize your content in real-time.   This powerful tool is able to work with any dry erase surface, you can attach the equill sensor to your board and immediately begin saving your dry erase notes.  This system consists of the equil sensor and "pen" which houses a regular dry erase marker.  You use the pen to write on your board and the sensor picks it up.  Those notes appear on a connected device in real time, or can be saved on board and uploaded to your device later. This allows for quick note taking with very little set up.  It is even easy to move from room to room or travel with.   Equil Smartmarker's sensor and marker sleeve have built-in batteries that last up to eight hours and can be recharged over USB in the provided charging dock. The product includes 4GB of memory and has ultrasound and infrared sensors on both sides providing an active capture area of 5 meters/16 feet. Unlike the eBeam Edge for Whiteboard, there is no calibration needed for Smartmarker. Place the receiver on the board and start writing immediately. The sensor knows where you are and even if the sensor is angled, the device will straighten digital content!
