The Glide Guard comes powder-coated in a matte-black finish with counter-sunk compressor/tank mounting holes and is constructed out of 3/16" thick steel to withstand extreme off-road conditions. The Hi-Tuck Cat-Back exhaust system is constructed of 2-1/2" mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing. The smooth curves and increased diameter of this exhaust system helps remove restriction and keeps exhaust gas flowing smoothly for increased horsepower, torque and throttle response. The exhaust incorporates a large 18" length 2-layer aluminized steel chambered muffler for an aggressive sound while eliminating exhaust drone. The muffler is located prior to the rear axle for increased climbing angles. Once the aFe left side exit exhaust system is installed, the skid plate on the "Glide Guard "mounts neatly in the former factory muffler location tucking your air compressor and tank as high as possible (air compressor and tank not included). This exhaust system is finished off with a Hi-Tuck Tip that is developed to give your Jeep extra clearance during extreme angle climbs or descents.
