Zion excels in having a duet of deep canyons coupled with 2,000 foot (609 m) lofty, chiseled, colorful, vertical cliff walls. All were created by the Virgin River. Kolob Canyon host the world’s second largest standing arch and one of the most prized hiking canyons – Subway.
Unlike Zion, Bryce’s scenery is below you in a vast st array of colorful sculptured soaring spires displayed in fourteen wide sculptured amphitheaters. En Route we also visit Red Canyon often named Little Bryce. Bryce is visited by approximately 1,000,000 visitors
CedarBreaks is visited by about 500,000 people because it is not on a main Zion to Bryce tour route. Scenery is equal and, in some facets, more dramatic than Bryce due to its eroded Pink Cliffs, coupled with contrasting brilliant white limestone pinnacles jutting out into its canyons. At an elevation of 10,000 feet (3,043 m), it is the highest park in these trips. At this elevation, 1,700 year old Bristlecone Pine tree thrive.

Embedded in this land is the enduring history of pioneers who settled here when it was barren except for native Indian occupation. In 1848, when the Mormons arrived from eastern U.S. and England, Utah belonged to the Mexican government who inherited from Spain by revolution.
Mile-By-Mile Location
Your exact location is accomplished by using a meticulous identification of mileposts (post along the road indicating mileage) located at each mile (1.6 km) on every improved road. Where those mileposts are not available, we use actual miles from a designated reference point.
