Yunomi Tea - Furyu's Rare Japanese tea: Tosa Bancha (30g)

A type of bancha made by pan-firing autumn harvested tea leaves, then blending it with kishimame, an herb common in many parts of Asia. The kishimame adds a natural sweetness to the tea.

STEEPING NOTES: Boil 2 liters of water in a kettle. Put 15 grams of tosa bancha leaves into the kettle. Boil for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat and wait for 20-30 seconds before serving. You can also steep this tea in a teapot with boiling water for 30 seconds.

ABOUT FURYU: Bancha Specialty Shop Furyu was established in 2010 by aspiring tea master Nobuhiko Ikematsu, who works directly with farmers in Kurume City, Fukuoka, to develop delicious bancha teas. He is also a specialist gathering rare bancha teas from around Japan.
