Your Sin: Songs for Dead Girls
MOVIE RIGHTS SOLD!!!!!
Yes, I am incredibly excited to say the least! For the few who found Your Sin early, thank you! Every review kept me going. The motion picture rights to Your Sin: Songs for Dead Girls have been sold to Universal. I was fortunate enough to have the contract stipulate that they must keep the ending the same as it is in the book. I've been told that is a rare feat.
I hope you enjoy this twisted little story and the lyrics & melodies of the killer. I cannot wait to see the movie in the theater alongside all of you!
No, it will NOT be a musical, it will be just like the book. The songs are simply clues left by the killer at each murder scene.
Here are a few quotes (that I was allowed to use) from the upcoming press and media release:
"Addictive beyond belief. I dare you to put Your Sin down." - The New York Times
"Story telling at it's finest! ...just when you think you know, you don't." - People
"Berlin has generously given us a whole new novel genre, gift wrapped in a riveting mystery with a flawless study of obsession as a bow on top.... Did I mention an accompanying acoustic album of masterfully written songs sung by one of the most powerful voices of this decade... An epoch talent." - Rolling Stone Magazine
THIS AMAZON USE REVIEW SUMS IT UP WELL:
You don't want to miss this one! Your Sin: Songs for Dead Girls starts out like an ordinary crime novel but gets very unique very quickly.
The detectives in the story are a male/female pair - Brian Forman and Scarlet Parker. Several women have been found with daggers through the heart and each women was holding an SD chip which contained a song accompanied by guitar written for the dead girl.
The killer is getting bolder and posting his music on Youtube and by the way the songs are embedded in the book so you just click on the link! Very cool!
The story takes a turn when an unthinkable thing happens with law enforcement.
This story will make an incredible movie! I'll see this movie on the 1st day!
