YSI ProODO Handheld Optical Dissolved Oxygen Field Kit with 4 Meter Cable
The YSI ProODO 4m Field Kit has a dissolved oxygen (DO) meter that uses an optical, luminescent-based technology and has direct salinity and altitude compensation, one-point DO calibration (or two-point with a 0% value), one-point barometer calibration, an internal barometer to ensure accuracy, onscreen instructions, and a backlit display and keypad for use in any lighting condition. The kit comes with a 4m field cable that has an optical DO probe. A digital signal sends information between the meter and probe. Calibration data are stored within the sensor, allowing the probe to be placed on another ProODO meter without re-calibration.
The meter has Automatic and Manual sampling modes, Continuous and Interval logging modes, and memory for 5000 data sets. It provides GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) data, has USB 2.0 connectivity (communications saddle and USB cable included), and comes with Data Manager PC software to manage data. The language is selectable in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Norwegian, or Portuguese. The rubber over-molded non-slip case adds durability and gripping ease. The meter runs on two alkaline C-cell batteries (included) and is impact-resistant and waterproof, with Ingress Protection 67 (IP67). Additional certifications include Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS), European Conformity (CE), Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE), C-Tick, and Voluntary Control Council for Interference by Information Technology Equipment (VCCI). DO meters are commonly used in water-quality testing applications.

.Dissolved oxygen (DO) meters measure the amount of dissolved oxygen present in water. The amount of DO helps to determine, for example, drinking water quality, the health of lakes or streams, and aquatic organism sustainability.
