Our corn starch utensils are made from 80 percent corn starch and 20 percent other biodegradable fillers. Each item is extremely durable and withstands temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. World Centric's corn starch utensils will compost within 6-12 months in a commerical composting facility and 12-18 months in a backyard compost bin.
