If you are like most PC users, you probably got this operating system with a new PC or laptop in the past. And if you are like 99% of the population, you purchased your computer from one of the major manufacturers; Dell, HP, Acer, Toshiba, Lenovo; who all have one thing in common: they don't give you a real operating system installation disc with your purchase.

It doesn't matter you paid some thousand $$$ for a machine that came with a valid operating system license - your computer manufacturer just don't want to spend the money (or perhaps take on the responsibility) of giving you the operating system installation CD or DVD to accompany your expensive purchase.

If you got Windows XP Home Edition (English) pre-installed on your computer and were not provided with a Windows installation disc in case of the need for repair, system restore or full reinstallation, this CD is for you. Using this CD, you will be able to reinstall Windows XP Home Edition (English) on your computer. This is the CD you need to be able to restore your computer to its original (factory) condition.

During (or after) installation, You will be asked to enter a 25-digit license "key" to activate your Windows. Please note that this CD does NOT come with a key. You will need to enter your own key to activate Windows and register your computer with Microsoft. If you are using a laptop, your key is located at the bottom of your laptop. If you are using a desktop, your key is located on the board.

How to use this CD: This CD is bootable that means it can auto-load itself during boot sequence. Just insert your CD into your CD drive and start your computer. Your computer will detect that a bootable CD is inserted and start reading your CD and load it automatically. Follow on-screen instructions carefully and finish installation.
