Soft box rods are designed to flex and are constructed from solid steel while tent-style heat vents allow for additional ventilation when used with hot lights. As an added benefit this softbox comes equipped with an inner baffle and outer diffusion panel to help soften and spread the light when used with strobes or hot lights. Note - no need to use the inner baffle with daylight balanced fluorescents as the diffused nature of the fluorescent bulb acts as a built in diffusion layer.
