This Package includes 6 each Waterwise Model 9000 Post Filter Cups from Waterwise PLUS a jar of Kleenwise Distiller Cleaner / De-scaler. The Waterwise 9000 countertop distiller utilizes this activated carbon cup to filter the remaining contaminants that distillation may not remove. Each Carbon cup is good for approximately 2 to 3 months (60 - 80 gallons). Sterilize each filter cup by fully immersing it in boiling water for about five minutes. Allow the filter to cool before handling. Pour 1 to 2 cups distilled water through filter cup to rinse away any small, harmless carbon fines (dust). This Filter Cup can also be used in the Waterwise 7000 and PureWise W10000. Kleenwise cleans and removes scale from the boiler of your distiller. It is made specifically for removing mineral and other deposits to keep your distiller operating efficiently and cleanly. Simply put 1 to 3 tablespoons in a plastic quart container and fill it halfway with warm water. Stir until fully dissolved. Pour the solution into the distiller boiler and allow it to sit for a few hours or until the scale has been removed.
