The WPI CG-0251 round-bottom flask is used for uniform liquid heating. The single neck has a 26mm inside diameter (ID) neck that accepts a #6 stopper (sold separately). The flask has a 100mm long neck and an overall height of 205mm. Round-bottom flasks provide uniform heating. This flask is made of clear borosilicate glass for durability, chemical- and temperature-resistance, and high mechanical strength under harsh conditions, such as mechanical washing. Borosilicate glass has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and is resistant to thermal stress. The flask meets ASTM International E1403 Type 2, Class 2 specifications for flask dimensions.
