W5JCK Math Guide for Amateur Radio Extra Class Exam 2012-2016

This book contains every question from the USA 2012-2016 Extra Class Question Pool* that requires one or more mathematical formulas to answer. I designed this document as an aid for reviewing the mathematics necessary to solve the exam questions.

For each question requiring math, the book shows how to solve the question by using an easy to understand, step-by-step process to illustrate each equation in detail. However, it does not cover the mathematical or electrical theories behind the equations.

This Kindle Edition displays using Amazon's new KF8 format for the Kindle Fire and appropriate apps and also display in the older mobi 7 format on appropriate Kindle eInk readers.

*Question Pool Element 4 — Extra Class, as released by the Question Pool Committee of the National Conference of Volunteer Examiner Coordinators 30 January 2012. This question pool is scheduled to be in service from 1 July 2012 until 30 June 2016.
