Vintage Hungarian Tower of Babel - Magic Tower - Rotating Beads Puzzle (difficulty 9 of 10)
Object: Mix Up Then Put Back to Start This puzzle was found in a store in Eastern Europe. This is a vintage puzzle made in 1982. It's known as The Babylon Tower. There are very limited quantities of this item.
The 'Tower of Babel' is a fascinating game for all the family. The apparently simple tower has over 2.6 quadrillion different colour combinations.
There are six columns of coloured balls, each column is a different colour, and each ball in that column is graded in six variations from light to dark. The tower is divided into six rotating sections that enable you to move balls from column to column. To created a space in which to move balls there are two spring-loaded holes at the bottom level of the tower, but only one can be used at a time.
Remember, the object is to get a mixed up tower back to its original form, with all grades of each individual colour in the right order of gradation, in the right column.
