Vestil SJ-35-2H Steel Economy Trailer Stabilizing Jack with Powder Coat Safety Yellow Finish, 50000 lbs Capacity
The Vestil SJ-35-2H economy stabilizing jack is a trailer jack that has two handles and can be used to support and level a semi-trailer when it is disconnected from a tractor unit. The trailer jack is made of steel, which is resistant to wear and corrosion. The yellow powder-coated finish resists scratches, chipping, fading, and other wear. The handles can be used to operate the jack or carry it. The base measures 14" in diameter and is dome-shaped for stability. The jack contains an Acme thread screw, which can support heavier loads than typical square thread screws. A grease fitting allows the jack to be lubricated. A reflective collar helps make the jack visible in the dark. The trailer jack has a static capacity of 50,000 lb. and a lifting capacity of 5,000 lb. and weighs 35 lb. It measures 3" in diameter and 51" high extended and 44" high retracted. The Acme thread screw measures 1-1/2" in diameter. This product is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.
Jacks are machines used to lift heavy objects, such as vehicles, trailers, structures, or heavy machinery. Jacks come in a range of styles for different applications. Common varieties include bottle jacks, which resemble a large bottle in shape and use hydraulic force to lift the load; floor jacks, which typically contain a long pump handle and caster wheels and sit low to the floor; and tongue jacks, which can be mounted onto the frame of a trailer to lift and lower it. Jacks can be used on construction sites or in warehouses, automobile repair shops, or industrial facilities.
