Through fear of death, two girls along with their families lived through a time that was like living in a nightmare. They hid from the people who were trying to kill them; and cried from the endless screams, bombs, whips and gunshots. They feared the future and constantly wondered what day would be their last. They lived in terror, heartbreak, and cruelty. Yes, they lived during World War II!
