USB to RS485/RS-422 Terminal Block Converter - Works with Windows 10
Introduction
The USB to RS485/422 serial converter connects your RS422 or RS485 signal device via USB host to terminal wire output. The serial converter's photoelectric isolation interface converts single ended USB signal into difference RS422 or RS485.
Converter Operation
With normal operating conditions the TVS tube (transient voltage suppressor) is in a state of high resistance. Impedance is depressed when the transient high energy is present at both ends of the TVS tube and kept at a pre-set value.
Protection For Your Device
The protection circuit within the converter can effective restrain lightening surge, ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and transient voltage events while of each signal is maintained.
Converter Settings
This RS422/485 converter is a plug-and-play device and doesn't have the need for jumper settings between full duplex at RS422 and half duplex at RS485. An FTDI chip is present for operation which makes the it applicable for all existing communication software and interface hardware.
