Genuine US Military cold weather Shells with wool inserts. The Military Surplus Trigger Finger Mittens were originally designed to allow Infantrymen to be combat effective in colder climates, but today they are used by sportsmen, hunters, and outdoorsmen alike. The unique, but proven design, allows the user to have mobility of their index fingers when needed, or the warmth of a full mitten when the temperature drops. This mitten system is comprised of an outer canvas shell complimented with a lighter weight mitten insert. The insert woolen liner can be worn on either hand. There is no left or right. During warmer months, the removable insert can be worn alone as a lightweight mitten. Whether you are ice fishing in Alaska, or backpacking on a cool morning, you will love the mobility and warmth of these mittens. Shell is made of 50 percent Cotton and 50 percent Nylon. Palm made of 100 percent Leather. Inserts made of 72 percent Wool and 28 percent Nylon. Made in USA by the Illinois Glove Company.
