EQUIPMENT CHARACTERISTICS, CAPABILITIES, AND FEATURES
The Aviation Mission Planning System (AMPS) is a mission planning/battle synchronization tool that automates
aviation mission planning tasks, and generates mission data for use in either hard copy or electronic formats. The
AMPS is comprised of a Portable Computer Unit (PCU) with the following optional equipment: the MU-1005/A
and MU-1114/A Data Transfer Receptacles, the Portable Computer – Improved Data Modem (PC-IDM), and the
Ruggedized Printer Assembly. Each AMPS component also includes necessary cables, connectors, fuses,
batteries, and other ancillary equipment.
