Oud is new. It was produced by us; Saadettin Sandi & Bahadir Sandi. We are very well known luthiers here in Turkey and in many other countries. We are making 30 different kinds of musical instruments having high quality. We are exporting our products to whole world. We especially made this model to answer the customers looking for cheap but having good quality ouds. Oud's craftmanship is actually not so different than the model GK-15 whoch costs 350 usd. We made minor changes on GK-15. When you see the pictures you will see that craftmanship is as good as our cheapest model GK-15. Woods again, are all solid. Body is made of Mahogany. Neck is one piece mahogany. Pegbox is also mahogany. Pegs and fingerboard are rosewood. Saddle is Mahogany. Soundboard is good quality European Spruce. Strings are Italian Galli. Sound tone is deep and rich. Really perfect sound tone according to its price. Oud will come with a soft case. We will build a plywood box for shipment. It will be very safe for shipment. Shipment will be done via Turkish Standard Mail Service (PTT). Delivery takes 15-20 days. We can send the oud via special companies such as DHL or TNT. But it costs 300 usd for an oud.
