This quick, accurate and versatile jig from Trend allows you to cut perfect-fitting mortise and tenons with a plunge router. Since the jig requires only one setup to cut both kinds of pieces, it is ideal for cabinet, chair and table construction. Fully adjustable for compound angle joints, this carpentry tool comes with a reversible template to produce round and square end tenons. The jig can cut material that is 1/2-2 inches thick and up to 4 inches wide. The angle bar and main plate on the routing tool can be rotated from -10° to 45° and the template can also be used for accurate doweling applications. This jig kit includes all mounting hardware you€ll need: four F-style clamps; setup bar with guide bush and cutter selection chart; seven guide bushings to create mortise and tenons from 1/4- 5/8 inch thick. The jig tool is compatible with 1/4-inch shank straight router bits. The base can be adjusted with the included T-wrench to accommodate angled joints.
