Tony Adams Signed 1988-89 Yellow Arsenal Football Jersey: Limited Edition

This jersey was signed by Arsenal legend Tony Adams in a private signing for Exclusive Memorabilia on April 17, 2013 in London. It is a limited edition of just 20 shirts on which Tony has added the score 0-2, in remembrance of the 0-2 victory at Anfield that secured the 1988-89 league title at the expense of Liverpool. The shirt is a remake of the style worn by the Gunners during that match. Arsenal went into the final game of the season needing victory by a two-goal margin to snatch the title from Liverpool. With only seconds remaining, they were trailing 1-0, but a goal from Mickey Thomas with virtually the last kick of the match took the league trophy to Highbury for the first time in 18 years. Adams, captain at just 22 years of age, lifted the trophy.
