Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway, King of the Railway Set
The Thomas Wooden Railway brings Thomas & Friends to life, helping your child develop physical, social, and cognitive skills, as well as a sense of accomplishment. Your child will enjoy hours of independent play with easy-to-build track layouts, trains that are simple and fun to connect, and lots of lights, sounds, and other stimulating features.
In the new Thomas & Friends adventure King of the Railway, the Earl of Sodor has returned to repair Ulfstead Castle. Stephen, one of the earliest engines ever built, is trying to be a Really Useful Engine, and he discovers the missing king’s crown inside a treasure chest in the old mine beneath Ulfstead Castle. This Wooden Railway playset allows your little engineer to expand upon the story to create new adventures for Thomas and his friends at Ulfstead Castle.
Thomas Wooden Railway engines don’t just have friendly faces; they’re built to last. These are wooden engines your child can play with for years to come. And with robust, constructive playsets, these pieces will become a fun, beneficial part of your little engineer’s childhood and development. The Deluxe King of the Railway Set is inspired by the new Thomas & Friends DVD movie, King of the Railway. There are two exciting levels to explore in Ulfstead Castle, a sliding hill, an armored horse for Thomas or Millie to pull, a drawbridge, swinging gate, a tunnel and more.
Children will love creating stories that take the excitement and adventure beyond the King of the Railway DVD and continue the tale through anything they can imagine. The sliding hill provides endless options for play scenarios. As children turn the wheel, the hill slides either left or right to reveal an elevated or level track. Both tracks lead to Ulfstead Castle, where two levels of play await. Use the elevated track to send the engines up the hill and across the drawbridge. Use the level track to pass through a swinging gate and tunnel. Pull the armored horse in the cargo car behind Thomas or Millie. Visit Stephen’s shed or drive past the Signal House. The Deluxe King of the Railway Set immerses your little engineer in Thomas’ world and helps inspire grand imagination.
