It has White plastic scales that are water resistant and 1937 Special-Coiffeur is etched in black on a Satin finished blade. One of the worlds finest shaving instruments, as well as, a work of art and craftsmanship. Thiers-Issard has been manufacturing straight razors in France since 1884.
