There's No Such Thing as a Super-hero
The human imagination is more powerful than most people realise.
For fourteen year-old Kevin, it is his only release from the body and world in which he exists. He likes neither. His body is that of a boy, and there€s no doubt that Kevin wants to be a girl. The world seems such an awful place, where his divorced mother has to hold down two jobs just to keep them both, and the school he attends is awful where people treat him like dirt.
In his imagination, Kevin is free to become the girl of his dreams. In his dreams he is not only a girl, but also a girl with super powers. What happens when the dream turns into reality?
The moral is never dream of something you can€t deal with.
The result is Kezzy, a mysterious girl with very special powers.
However, Kezzy not only deals with the reality, but revels in it to such a degree that poor Kevin is all but forgotten. But how does Kezzy meld a dream into real life without hurting those she loves.
Not easy, but to a girl who just enjoys being herself, it turns out to be quite a challenge, particularly when there are those who have other ideas, and those ideas threaten everything that Kezzy stands for, not least Kevin€s mother who is not convinced that losing Kevin is what she wants.
