The Upland Bird Art of Maynard Reece

Maynard Reece, an award-winning American artist renowned for his representations of birds flying, feeding, courting and nesting, brings to this book a lifetime's experience of sketching and painting birds in the prairies, mountains and deserts of North America. The book depicts more than 20 species of upland birds, including turkeys, quail, pheasants, partridges, grouse, ptarmigan, woodcock, snipe and doves, in their habitats throughout the seasons.
