The first part of this work treats of the Trinity. After presenting the testimony of the Scriptures and the Fathers, Fr. Garrigou-Lagrange explains the questions in St. Thomas' Summa theologica, article by article, comparing his doctrine with the teaching of earlier and later theologians. The second part of this work treats of God the Creator. Fr. Garrigou-Lagrange handles the topic in similar fashion by explaining the questions in the Summa Theologica article by article.
