The Thief and the Tentacles

Griffin, a young and attractive thief, is hired by a wealthy businessman to retrieve an ancient urn from a museum. When he arrives in the middle of the night to steal the urn, he discovers it covered in erotic pictures of men being pleasured by a strange creature. As he attempts to steal the urn, he realizes that the pictures may have been a warning to anyone tampering with the container.

Griffin stood next to the urn and marvelled at the etchings on the side. Now that he could see them up close, he could barely believe his eyes.
In one etching, a man was held upside down by what appeared to be a plant or a bundle of ropes. The man looked surprised, unsurprisingly, but not afraid. His legs were bound by tendrils emerging from the bundle, and somehow, without any other support, the ropes were strong enough to hold him in the air. Several other tendrils were flowing out of the central bundle, and one appeared to lunge towards the man's mouth while another seemed to strike out towards his midsection.
