The Terrible Beauty of the Evil Man
The Terrible Beauty of the Evil Man is the story of how and why the eldest grandchild of one of America’s most prominent Evangelical leaders chose to reject Christianity. The author narrates his struggle against the rigid conformity of the fundamentalist dogmas of his family and society, particularly against the notion that if he chose to reject Christianity he must be an evil man. The author describes his passage out of Christianity, and through agnosticism, towards Judaism.
