The Square Spiral
About the book: The book explains the mathematical and physical basis of 'time and price squaring' used in stock market analysis and prediction. The square spiral of the natural numbers often referred to as the Gann 'square of nine' is a two dimensional mapping of the three dimensional physical increase and decreases in random data series. The theory is founded on the discrete nature of the transactional process which constitutes market activity. About the author: The author is a meteorologist who has applied his background in weather and climate forecasting to the stock market. He developed the long-range forecast system used by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology which successfully predicted the run of droughts through the 1990's in eastern Australia. He has developed a theoretical model which applies to statistically random series that are commonly found in geophysical, climatic, and economic data.
