The Onion, A Spiritual Quest

The Onion is based on the true story of several individuals whose lives crossed paths in the turbulent early '70s. Rob is on a Spiritual Quest pursued by loneliness. He flees to Canada to evade the draft and eventually goes to prison for his antiwar activities. Jon & Karen live on the street working with runaways. Michael escapes the war zone of the projects and greatly influences everyone's life.

The story involves spirituality, the black experience, death, war, poverty, drugs, rape, incest and murder.
