The Keys to the Golden Den: a book for children age 9/10/11/12 (childrens books)

Whilst on a routine trip to the library with her grandmother, 9-year-old Jenny accidentally discovers a letter hidden inside a library book.

The contents of the mysteriously concealed envelope lead her to meet with a local boy, Ben, who as it happens, is no stranger to such strange happenings, and warns Jenny of the significance of her discovery.

Before they’ve had time to brush their teeth and pull up their socks, the two young adventurers find themselves on a journey into a new world, beyond the grime and grey of their hometown. They don’t know how long they’ll be gone. They don’t know what dangers await. All they know is that they must to find the keys to the “Golden Den”. But what is the den? And why is it so important that they find it?
