The Froebel Gifts 2-6 with Instruction Manual
The Gifts (also known as Spielgabe, Eunmul, Gabe) are the original educational toys, developed by Friedrich Froebel, inventor of kindergarten, and made famous by Frank Lloyd Wright, Buckminster Fuller, and several Bauhaus artists. This Froebel USA set of Gifts 2-6 includes 5 wood block sets, each in their own wood slide-top box. Includes a sturdy 2-sided grid card and the Froebel Gifts 2000 instruction booklet written by Scott Bultman, former director of the Froebel Foundation USA. The manual briefly discusses the history, philosophy, and "play" properties of these famous toys, and provides illustrated instructions on the use of the materials.
