The Equadose.grind crushes your pills into a very fine powder. It makes it simple for medicine to be flushed down a feeding tube without clumping, or swallowed for those with strong gag reflexes. No more twisting you hands down hard to crush your tablets. With the Equadose.grind, you simply turn the handle, and let it do the work. It is made of quality aircraft aluminum. The grinding mechanism is a ceramic conical burr. Also included is a removable jar and lid for storage of your powdered pills. Please note that the Equadose.grind is NOT designed for crushing large tablets (like Calcium supplements) or gummy/moist medications. In addition, it may be difficult for those with osteoarthritis. It is impossible to design a grinder that will fit all tablets perfectly. For this reason, the ceramic grinding burr is adjustable. Please turn the white adjustable knob to the right (for small pills) or to the left (for larger pills). The knob should click as you turn it. For large pills it may take several clicks to the left.
