The Earth Quakers
The Earth Quakers - A thrilling new novel of strength, love, courage, and friendship.
For Tom Mathers, a six week business trip to Tokyo, Japan is suddenly interrupted mid-flight when a volcanic eruption in the Atlantic Ocean near the Canary Islands causes a chain reaction of disasters. The volcano, just off of the North Western tip of Africa, causes the entire mountainside of Cumbre Vieja to break off and crash into the Atlantic Ocean. Together, the earthquake at sea and the mountain landslide displace a massive amount of water in the Atlantic Ocean, and send a devastating tsunami throughout the Atlantic Basin. Massive three hundred foot tall waves traveling across the ocean at over five hundred miles per hour race towards Morocco, Africa, Europe, and the entire eastern coastline of the United States.
In charge of a four member business team, miles and miles away from home, Tom finds himself relying on his faith and his wits to find a way to get his employees back home to their families. But as the Mayans predicted long ago, as the December twenty first, 2012 date draws ever near, the earthquakes on our planet become more frequent and more severe. Tom and his team's journey home becomes a surreal struggle for survival. Along the way, Tom learns the true meaning of leadership, and the value of friendship.
