The Beginning (Tales of the Triad Book 1)

A post apocalyptic tale. The Beginning contains the first three novels in the series.
Book one, The Event. Seven billion people die overnight, killed by a change effecting entire galaxies. John, a resident of Florida awakens to find himself on a plateau half a mile high in central Florida, the only survivor in the entire state.
He and the few survivors across the world must struggle to deal with a universe where magic has replaced science and all of mans inventions no longer exist.

Book two, Dragons and Goblins and Wizards Oh My! The survivors, now established on the Citadel, the plateau that sprang up in central Florida, must continue to deal with the changes taking place in the human race.
Goblins, Elves and Dwarfs are joined by other creatures, some friendly to man and others hostile. Along with the twin moons, Dragons are once again seen flying in the bluish purple skies.

Book three, The Departure. In a post apocalyptic future where magic is the law of the universe, the survivors continue to rebuild their world. The fringe, the cause of the destruction, is still with them, but it will soon pass, leaving behind only the laws of magic.
The passing of the Fringe is not quiet, both continuing to shift continents and changing humanity into new species, with the old ways of life coming to the foreground.
