Literally meaning, "heaven and earth tea" in Japanese, Ten-Chi Cha is our all-natural tea product containing a blend of 12 premium Asian ingredients, highlighted by the herb "doku-dami." All of the ingredients have a long history in Asia of being used for detoxification and aiding the digestive and circulatory systems. Doku-dami also happens to be one of only a handful of herbs to be listed under the prestigious Japanese Pharmacopoeia. Despite the many benefits, efforts to produce tea products have not been very successful in the past due to the naturally bitter taste and unappealing smell of many of these herbs. However, we employ a specially designed roasting technique to brew Ten-Chi Cha, in which each herb is carefully roasted one by one. This process eliminates any distinctive smell and enhances the taste, and also because unlike other green teas Ten-Chi Cha contains no caffeine or tannins, it is safe for anybody at any age to enjoy. We work closely with our manufacturing plant in Japan to insure adherence to the strictest of international standards for safety and quality control. All of our facilities are state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly.
