"I work with children with Autism, and it is difficult at times to motivate them to learn. While working with one child who had a particularly difficult time finding any reinforcement in anything, I tried some pieces of a Tangle Toy. The child was hooked. I thought, 'Finally something that this child likes.' However, what I found next was even more impressive. As I started using the Tangle, I began using some with other children who had various issues (not as a treatment but as a reward). Many of them immediately took to them and I noticed a dramatic improvement in the children's behavior over time. They were calmer and better able to deal with stressors that usually sent them over the edge. I soon found that the older and more advanced kids also loved them and were highly motivated by them. It held their attention and therefore helped them with their concentration, spatial relations and problem solving skills. I cannot praise this toy enough.
