Talent's MONITORPAD monitor isolation wedge set improves the imaging, clarity, and bass response of your studio monitors. Includes eight wedges to accommodate a wide variety of speakers. Most studio monitor speakers are built the same way as bookshelf speakers; flat on the bottom. When placed on your desktop, you could be listening at up to 10° off-axis and missing subtle imaging cues due to the high frequency roll-off that naturally occurs. A Talent MIW1 monitor isolation wedge set properly aims your studio monitors towards your ears. This creates more precise imaging and high frequency extension. You also get a more focused sound stage, increased clarity, and tighter bass response due to your monitors being mechanically isolated and decoupled from your work surface. For live musicians, Talent's MIW1 isolates and angles stage monitors up to 50 pounds. In addition to the benefits above, mechanical isolation from the stage reduces acoustic feedback caused by resonate stages. Four protection blocks (two per speaker are recommended) are included with a molded stop that increase or decrease your speaker's angle of output by 5°. Four included insert wedges are for subtle adjustments, increasing or decreasing the angle by 3°, or for use with the protection blocks to increase or decrease the angle by 8°. Install the insert wedges backwards onto the protection blocks to create a flat 2" lift. Talent's MIW1 is also great for use with laptops, tablets, keyboards, turntables, and DJ consoles!
