Tabletop furnace / kiln includes 4 inter-changeable crucibles: 10 troy ounce, 30 troy ounce, 60 troy ounce AND 100 troy ounce -- plus tongs that will fit each crucible. Simply swap out the various size crucibles with the crucible topper kits that are included. Each Crucible Topper Kit contains a top plate, a crucible and tongs. Furnace is designed with a lightweight, but extremely durable Gemcolite Alumina Fiber insert. The composition of alumina-silicate, alumina and mullite fibers that include both inorganic and organic binders, are excellent for handling strength and material integrity at high temperatures. Gemcolite-Alumina reduces kiln weight without sacrificing performance. Equipped with an 80mm LED cooling fan, which not only protects the unit's electrical components, but also helps to circulate air flow for added durability. Digital PID Temperature Controllers are ideal for precise temperature control and include auto-tuning functionality, 5 types of control output methods, and 2 LED indicators for relay and control output indications. Ships with Owner's Manual and a 1-year limited warranty from manufacturer on electrical parts including digital temperature controller, power switch, and relays. Ceramic firing chambers, element coils, and thermocouples are covered for 3 months, excluding normal wear and tear. Crucible and tongs are not included in the warranty. This unit comes in SILVER powder coating (NOT black as shown in the photo) to ensure furnace does not discolor, and keeps the exterior cooler than ever before.
