The TV Jones Super'Tron is a replica of the original early 1960's prototype design. It is very similar to the TV Classic, but with steel blades instead of pole screws. The blades provide a larger magnetized surface area, producing greater inductance. The resulting tone retains the TV Classic clarity, but with a bold and full broadband punch. The new TV Jones Universal Mount with Clip System makes choosing a TV Jones pickup easier than ever! No need to choose between the No Ears (NE) Mount or the English Mount (pickup ring/pickguard). This new mount does both with one easy mounting option. The EM2 Gretsch pickup surrounds are modified for use with TV Jones Universal Mount pickups. These rings fit the Filter'Tron footprint of the Universal Mount, as well as the TV Jones English Mount. The pickup ring mounts directly to the guitar and the pickup suspends from the ring.
