THE 1997 RULES OF CIVIL PROCEDURE ANNOTATED

This book is an annotation on the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure. The amendments on the Rules are included in this Third (2012) edition. The Rules were annotated with pertinent provisions of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, legislations, jurisprudence and issuances of the Supreme Court, and opinions of legal luminaries. It is approximately 1027 pages in printed form.

This book was first published in 2000 and underwent two revisions. The second edition (2007), consisting of 884 pages, was published by the Central Book Store, Manila, Philippines, and is now currently available at some leading bookstores in the Philippines priced at 1080 pesos.

This Kindle edition is updated with Supreme Court of A.M. No. 07-7-12-SC, dated December 4, 2007, and A.M. No. 11-3-6-SC, dated March 15, 2011, amending Rules 41, 45, 58 and 65, and Sec. 12, Rule 14, respectively, of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure. Supreme Court A.M. No. 08-8-7-SC, effective October 1, 2008, providing for the Rules of Procedure for Small Claims Cases, as amended, A.M. No. 11-1-6-SC-PHILJA on the Consolidated and Revised Guidelines to Implement the Expanded Coverage of Court-Annexed Mediation [CAM] and Judicial Dispute Resolution [JDR], and Republic Act 9282 expanding the jurisdiction of the Court of Tax Appeals.
