Whereas Version 2.1 included dbANYWHERE middleware server with a 25 connection limit, Version 2.5 includes dbANYWHERE 1.1a full server, with unlimited database connectivity, offering companies a complete, powerful solution to develop Java applets and applications and connect them with enterprise databases. dbANYWHERE has native support for Oracle, Informix, Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server as well as ODBC sources.
