Swift Optical's Altimeter/Barometer makes an ideal travel companion, whether you go by car or foot - it measures altitude and barometric pressure. Mount it on your vehicle's dashboard or carry it on your next hike or mountain biking excursion. It uses an aneroid or mechanical barometer, which contains no mercury, so you won't have to worry about dangerous chemicals harming the environment. The barometer measures pressure in inches of mercury, and the altimeter has a range of zero to 15,000 feet.
