Superior Emerald CX cut-resistant composite PVC Palm dotted string knit gloves. Emerald CX gloves are made with high-performance materials. This style features Kevlar blended with tire-core, stainless steel and silica-infused fiber for seamless-knit comfort with ASTM cut-level 4 protection. All this in a dexterous string knit with snug fit and great touch sensitivity. Gloves are engineered so that the most abrasion-resistant yarns are on the exterior. The silica fiber is securely wrapped with other fibers to prevent it from migrating or breaking down. Thumb and index-fingers are reinforced to prevent wear-through before the rest of the glove is fatigued. Fiber distribution is even for consistency across every square centimeter of the knit. The 7-micron diameter fiberglass - a diameter that will not cause skin irritation - is entangled and felted with Kevlar fiber during the spinning process to eliminate any fiberglass exposure to the wearer's hands. Great launder-ability means the SCX5 keeps reporting back for duty wash after wash. Great cut protection/abrasion resistance/wash-ability/dexterity, and unbeatable value. This glove withstands intermittent thermal contact of up to 300 degrees F, with no harm to the glove. In the Taber test for abrasion, results were 1805 cycles for stellar abrasion resistance.
