Superbpag USB 3.0 PCI-E Express Card with 4 USB 3.0 Ports and 5V 15-Pin Power Connector for Desktops
Features:
How to know if it'll work with motherboard? How to check?
It need to have a PCI-E slot on motherboard. It is a narrow green socket with 2 smaller sockets. The USB 3.0 fits into that card slot. Once it is installed you just need to load the driver from the included mini-CD(Windows 8/win 10 - No additional drivers are needed). Any PC built in the last 3-4 years should have a couple of PCI-E slots. The card needs extra power. It will also need to connect a 15-pin power plug. The same plug that the older IDE disks used to get power.
Operating Systems:
Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 (with included drivers)
Windows 8/win 10 - No additional drivers are needed for Win8, it has built-in support for the NEC chipset
Note:
Win7 64 bit system need to close the driver signature
How to close the driver signature ?
1.Open the CMD command line using the administrator's identity
2.Input"bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS"
3.Reopen your computer and use the CD to load the driver
Attention:
If devices attached to the express card aren't recognised after a restart of the computer, it is advised to detach and reattach the devices onto another USB port again, so a proper recognition is realised.
If the card doesn't work properly from the start, you may try out the following steps
Step 1: de- and reattach the devices to be recognised, so the system can try another recognition search
Step 2: Augment with the optional power supply, so an automatic search can be retried
Step 3: Check the PCI-E socket on the main board for possible faults
Step 4: Try out another Desktop PC, if available, to determine the card's general functionality
