This brand new 5MP digital microscope camera has a unique design and includes a 0.5x 23mm adapter to fit smooth eyepiece ports on your microscope. This adapter enables the camera to acquire the same field of view as seen when you look through the microscope. Alternatively, use a C-mount adapter to connect directly to the camera. It captures both still images and live video and is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 as well as Mac OS X and Linux. The included software is easy to use and offers advanced features such as measuring, stitching and extended depth of focus. You can also add notes, shapes and watermarks. Output and power supply is via the included USB 2.0 cable brand which enables rapid image storage and email via your computer. Simple, intuitive and easy-to-use controls offer image capture, notation, geometric measuring and storage in JPG, BMP, TIFF, RAW format. The software also includes auto white balance, color enhancement, anti-flicker and other benefits. TWAIN and DirectX plug-ins are also included on the installation CD and are independent of the main driver, allowing discreet control of the camera for these applications.
